Outside of SCOPE, I’m involved with the Iowa Community Integrated Geographic Organization, where I work on GIS/geospatial data projects for Iowa communities, and I intern for the sustainability/social impact department at Tippie College of Business. I’ve been involved with the jazz program here on campus and perform with jazz combo groups, and I’m in a jazz-funk band called YesterNite that plays around the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area (catch us at a basement show sometime). I work front-of-house at Hancher Auditorium and volunteer for the marketing department at the Englert Theatre. In my free time, I love to do yoga, hike, and read just about any kind of book I can get my hands on.
