Teezo Touchdown will be making an appearance this Friday night. To see Teezo for yourself, join SCOPE on the Pentacrest at 8:00 p.m. following the homecoming parade and a special performance from NOSTRANGRS on September 26. 

Aaron Lashane Thomas, best known as Teezo Touchdown, is a rising artist who began to make a name for himself following his spot as a tour opener for Tyler, The Creator in 2022. His debut album, How Do You Sleep At Night?, made in collaboration with RCA Records, was released on September 8, 2023. The album includes features from Janelle Monaé, Foushée, and Isaiah Rusk.

Teezo incorporates an eclectic mix of sounds into his music. Dazed, the British lifestyle magazine, has described him as “a delightfully weird, genre-defying enigma who, without breaking a sweat, combines hip-hop, autotune, radio pop, country music, trap beats, emo-punk, acoustic arpeggios and whatever else is in his brain into infectious, digestible three-minute earworms.”
