The Deep Cuts

While my playlist is all over the place and doesn’t make any sense, it also captures my music taste perfectly! Genres ranging from metallic hardcore to EDM, my playlist is something I listen to every day with no skips. There are no “deep cut” artists, but a lot of the songs I have on this playlist are definitely less popular. For example, “Breaking Ground” by State Champs, or “Punish” by Ethel Cain. I tend to prefer higher energy songs such as “Masochist” by Palaye Royale, and “EVERYDOG HAS ITS DAY” by glaive. My music taste is always evolving and changing, but I feel like my playlist captures artists that I’ve recently been into like Frost Children, and Audrey Hobert, but also has artists I have always loved such as twenty one pilots, and Paramore.

Favorite Concert Experience

Seeing twenty one pilots in a small venue on the release date of “Clancy” and hearing a ton of deep cuts and songs that have never been played before, or when Palaye Royale stopped the show to ask me what my name was and shouted me out for being one of the only people dancing and singing. 

Hobbies / Interests / Fun Facts / Campus Involvement

My main interest is concert photography and that is what I plan to pursue as a full-time career, but I also like to play guitar and draw. While I’m not the best at playing guitar or drawing, I like to do things that I can do alone that free my mind by being creative. Right now, my only campus involvement is SCOPE, but I would love to do some other things that involve using my camera. A fun fact about me is that I have a pet spider named Clancy after the twenty one pilots album!
