On Friday Nov. 7, SCOPE Productions invited the Iowa City community to indulge in warm hot chocolate and intimate folk music at Kindred Coffee with a special after-hours "Lamplight" performance. The hospitality committee passed out drinks as groups gathered in the coffee shop lit ammoungest bedroom lamps, creating a cozy glow that set the tone for the night. 

Local acts River Glen and Babydog set the tone for the night with acoustic sets that blended tender vocals, storytelling, and stripped-down instrumentation. The event not only showcased homegrown talent but also gave audience members a warm space to gather, connect, and appreciate live music in its simplest form.
