The Deep Cuts

My playlist is all over the place. Generally, I tend to stick to sample heavy underground hip hop. I love listening to jazz fusion, soul, and really any genre that is inspired by them. I’ve found that I get really picky with country/pop/and metal, but I’m always open to discover new genres. Currently on Habibi funk. Seeing Soulja Boy live last year. So many fun openers, and it felt like one of those surreal moments where everybody was screaming every word.

I love sports! Soccer, Pickleball, Golf, Disc golf, Basketball, and Football. I’m a huge foodie too and love to cook. I love getting outside, and my favorite way to listen to music is probably on my bike. Big Frolicking guy. You’ll catch me inspecting bugs wherever I am out in nature. I love building Legos and working with my hands. In the past year I have been slowly picking up making some of my own beats. More than anything, I just enjoy being part of the wonderful community here in Iowa City and I hope to meet more people and bond over music!
