Dustin Lynch first came to fame in 2012 with his hit single, “Cowboys and Angels,” co-written with Josh Leo and Grammy Award-winning, Tim Nichols. He has since been perceived not only as a heart-throb in the Country Music industry, but also as an esteemed artist after winning the “Breakthrough Video of the Year,” at the CMT Awards for “Cowboys and Angels." Dustin Lynch’s modern take on classic Country sound is sure to reach a huge portion of Iowa City’s population that have been waiting for a great Country show.
IMU Main Lounge
The IMU Main Lounge is set up like a 1920’s hall. Beautiful chandeliers, fireplaces, and a VIP balcony give this room a great atmosphere. It is a versatile room with different options for stage positioning as well as seated or general admission.

The IMU Second Floor Ballroom is the perfect place for the band with a strong grass roots following or a hit single climbing the charts. The built-in stage and large dance floor make this a high energy value venue. The capacity of the IMU Second Floor Ballroom is 1,100 for general admission shows.

IMU Blackbox Theater
The IMU Blackbox Theater is a great room for smaller shows. With a capacity of 350, this room is perfect for up-and-coming artists and the most intimate of shows.

SCOPE Productions is the University of Iowa's Student Commission on Programming Entertainment. Based in Iowa City, Iowa, SCOPE is charged with bringing quality concerts and entertainment to the University of Iowa campus and the Iowa City community. SCOPE Productions also serves as an educational opportunity for its student members, offering hands-on experience in the business of music promotion, production, hospitality, marketing, talent buying, and finance. Applications are due in the CSIL Office (145 IMU), by September 12th. You will sign up for your interview time in the box office when you drop off your application.
Interviews will be held the week of September 15th.
