SCOPE Productions has the pleasure of announcing that THIRD EYE BLIND will be performing at the IMU Main Lounge, on Monday, November 2nd at 7:30 PM.

Third Eye Blind has produced hits for over a decade. Their self-titled first album, Third Eye Blind, was released in the spring of 1997. By that summer, the introductory single "Semi-Charmed Life" had become a chart-topping modern rock hit. After several more successful singles including "How's It Going to Be" and "Jumper", the album broke into the Billboard Top 200 and remained there for over a year. This album established Third Eye Blind as one of the most popular bands of the ‘90s.

Blue followed in 1999 and sold 150,000 copies within a month of its release, eventually going platinum with help from the smash hit "Never Let You Go". Their latest album Ursa Major was released in August 17, 2009, with the hits "Don't Believe a Word" and "Bonfire". Ursa Major debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, selling 49,000 copies in its first week of release.

Tickets for the concert go on sale at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 23rd and can be purchased at University of Iowa Box Office, located in the IMU, and all other Ticketmaster locations.
