SCOPE Productions is excited to announce that country music star Dierks Bentley will perform in the Iowa Memorial Union Main Lounge on April 23rd at 7:30 PM.

Dierks Bentley is on "fire" as usual with his fifth and latest release, Feel That Fire, released in February of 2009. Bentley, a mainstay on the country charts for years, posted six number one chart singles and 12 total songs to reach the charts. The Phoenix, Arizona native's extensive singles catalog includes hits like "Come a Little Closer," "What Was I Thinkin'," "Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)," and the recent "Feel That Fire." Bentley just released "Sideways" as his next single, a high energy song that sticks to his roots of feel good music that propelled him to the elite of country's most successful contemporary artists.

Also performing with Dierks Bentley will be the Iowa City native band 8 Seconds, as well as Jedd Hughes.

Tickets are $32.00 each and will go on sale March 5th at 10:00 AM for fan club presales. University of Iowa students can buy up to four tickets at the University Box Office with a valid student I.D. on Monday, March 9th and Tuesday, March 10th before the general public on-sale date, Wednesday, March 11. Student tickets on Monday and Tuesday can only be purchased at the University Box Office, located on the first floor of the Iowa Memorial Union and on Wednesday tickets will be available at the Box Office and all official Ticketmaster outlets. The general public can buy a maximum of two tickets at a time.
